AnnotationIn this presentation, fundamental principles of electromembrane extraction (EME) were explained and illustrated with extractions of relevant analytes from biological samples. Recent progress and future perspectives were demonstrated on automation of EME by the application of 96-well plate set-up, application of commercial EME devices, and on-line coupling of EME to analytical instrumentation (such as liquid chromatography) for full automation of the entire analytical process.
