Vďaka optimalizácii technologického procesu pred-úpravy povrchu podložky a použitých DNČ sa nám podarilo dosiahnuť rast ultra-tenkých diamantových vrstiev s hrúbkou približne 10 nm, čo toho času reprezentuje akúsi „technologickú métu“.
Diamond nanoparticles (DNP) are perspective for various interdisciplinary fields of science. Our study is devoted to three selected areas: study, characterization and use of DNPs. DNP is an ideal material suitable for surface activation of non-diamond substrates. Thanks to the process optimization of surface pre-treatment of the substrate and DNPs, we have succeeded in achieving the growth of ultra-thin diamond layers with a thickness of approximately 10 nm, which at the time represents a „technological mile“. In the paper are mentioned the analytical techniques used for the characterization of chemical bonds on the surface of DNPs. Diamond-coated ATR prisms are presented as advanced optical elements generally suitable for infrared spectroscopy but also for characterization of the surface of the DNPs themselves.
