AnnotationIn this study we present a comparison of the newly available electron temperature (Te) from the Swarm Langmuir probes in the sweep mode (SM) with the electron temperature from the harmonic mode (HM). It is shown that Te from SM is generally in much better agreement with Te climatology from IRI-2016 than Te obtained from HM. This relatively good agreement suggests that probably no contamination effect plays a role in too high Te from the harmonic mode.
