Description in English In the present article, I endeavour to introduce the process of identifying the Sun and the stars, as well as its consequences for 17th century cosmology and anthropology. In the first part of the paper, I explore how the idea that distant stars constitute objects akin to our Sun was disseminated among the proponents of geocentrism and heliocentrism. In the second part of the article, I aim to illustrate the anthropological consequences of these changes.
