Předmětem publikace je plochá měděná sekera, která byla nalezena v roce 2017 u Duban, okr. Pardubice. Dle typologické analýzy jde podle většiny znaků o typ Pölshals, který lze s jistou mírou pravděpodobnosti datovat do středního eneolitu, s možnými chronologickými přesahy oběma směry. Sekera je vyrobena z arzénové mědi typu Mondsee, která je pro dané období příznačná. V místě nálezu jde s vysokou mírou pravděpodobnosti o import, ať již hotového výrobku, či suroviny, která se na Pardubicko dostala z Alp nejspíše moravskou cestou.

The subject of this paper is a flat copper axe which was found near the village of Dubany, Pardubice District, in 2017. According to typological analysis, most features seem to point to the Pölshals type, most likely dated to the Middle Aeneolithic, with possible chronological overlaps in both directions. The axe is made of Mondsee type arsenic copper which is quite characteristic of the given period. It was most probably an import, either in the form of a finished product or the raw material used, which was most probably brought to the Pardubice region from the Alps via Moravia.
