AnnotationMixed perovskites Sr1-xBaxMnO3 were lately indicated as possible multiferroics with a strong magnetoelectric coupling. However, THz spectroscopy with varying temperature and magnetic field revealed no magnetodielectric effect. Our study brings new information on the ferroelectric phase transition.
