In this work, emphasis was on the chemical processes induced by nanosecond discharge plasma in water. Chemical activity of the discharge was studied by means of optical emission spectroscopy and by chemical methods. Plasmachemical productions of hydrogen peroxide and OH radicals generated by nanosecond discharge in deionized water were determined. Comparison with the pulsed discharge plasma in liquid operated in µs pulse duration range was made in order to assess effects of the input pulse power parameters (pulsed duration) on plasmachemical processes induced by electrical discharge plasma in the liquid.
