    Subject RIV: AB - History

Článek analyzuje poměr Jana Husa k duchovní a světské moci. Reformně orientovaný kněz, kazatel a univerzitní učitel spoléhal ve sporu s institucionální církví stále více na světskou složku (Václav IV., česká a moravská šlechta). Ta jej však nemohla vymanit z církevní jurisdikce.

This article analzyzes the attitude of Jan Hus to the ecclesiastical and worldly authorities. More and more, the reform-oriented priest, preacher and university teacher relied in his dispute with the institutional church on the worldly domain (Wenceslaus IVth, the Czech and Moravian nobility). However this was unable to release him from the ecclesiastical jurisdiction.
