The submitted study looks at Czech political party congress in Czechoslovakia after WWII, when ther was a fundamental transformation of political partisanship. In this regard, undoubtedly the most important change was a reduction in the number of political parties, and last but not least the establishment of the National Front as an umbrella organisation for the approved political parties. The importance of the approved parties increased significantly in post war society.
