In this contribution we present the preparation of single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) / nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) flexible film along with the characterization using high-resolution analytical techniques such as transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Auger electron spectroscopy (AES). After preparation of SWCNT papers as substrates, the growth of NCD layer was performed in pulsed linear microwave plasma CVD system. The structure and morphology of prepared samples were analysed using SEM, TEM, BF STEM and HA ADF STEM electron microscope techniques. In order to identify different sp2 and sp3 hybridization of carbon atoms through the sample the Auger electron and the surface electron energy loss spectra were measured and discussed.
