This is the first record of a member of the genus Tarentola from Uganda. Population of Tarentola annularis relicta was found in Ubbi village on the South-Western foot of Mt. Otzi in northern Uganda, close to the border with Sudan. Brief comments on extraordinary biogeographical affinities of the area and characterization of the Mt. Otzi environments are provided.
