Anthraquinone modified nucleotides were incorporated into DNA by primer extension with KOD polymerase. In cyclic and square wave voltammetry at HMDE or PGE antraquinone gave a well developed characteristic signal suitable for differentiation of the labeled DNA from unlabeled one.
