AnnotationThe presented article considers these topics as follows: Increasingly in recent decades non-destructive methods of analysis materials are used for the study of different kind of materials. • X-ray industry computed tomography (CT). • Especially is preferred the use of 2D and 3D high-resolution X-ray CT or micro-CT with the micro-focal sources of X-rays and the suitable linear or flat (2D) X-Ray detectors. • By μCT is achieved resolution of individual building units in the tomographic cross-sections (so called voxels) at the level of unit or first tens of micrometers. Study of mechanical states of geomaterials and their deformations during testing and ways of their failure, • Research of structure and composition of materials or geocomposite generally heterogeneous geomaterials, • Study of hydraulic properties, flow and diffusion of liquids in geomaterials, • Geo-environmental applications, • Changes in materials during physical experiments related to geotechnics - engineer applications, • Rock and soil porosity and inclusion study.
