    AnnotationThe paper summarizes activities of the ICOS (International Council of Onomastic Sciences) Terminology Group which was established by Milan Harvalík in 2004 and the aim of which is to elaborate an international manual of basic onomastic terms with their definitions. Further, it gives an overview of possible next steps of the work, along with some suggestions and recommendations how to proceed when working with the onomastic terminology.
