    In a model of chronic renal failure induced by 5/6 nephrectomy, we studied the effect of long-term (10 months) of combined renin-angiotensin (RAS) and endothelin (ET) receptor blockades. The addition of ET receptor blockade to classical RAS blockade had substantial effects on the survival of animals, probably due to the regressed renal damage
