Kapitola nejprve identifikuje historicko-epistemologickou metodu, s níž autoři jako G. Bachelard, G. Canguilhem a M. Foucault přistupují k vědeckým pojmům, a poté tuto metodu aplikuje na otázku historických podmínek objektivity.
The chapter first characterizes the common principles of the historical-epistemological approach towards scientific concepts, pioneered by G. Bachelard, G. Canguilhem and M. Foucault, and then applies them in order to outline a set of historical conditions of objectivity.
