Description in English
On the occasion of Professor Ivan Hlaváček's 80th birthday, this book presents part of his foreign academic papers, which were until now unavailable. It follows three related themes: papers focusing on royal courts as executive bodies of state administration and government, royal residences as the main seats of the ruler and the rulers' trips as occasions for the specific execution of government. All three themes are connected in personalities of the Czech rulers of Luxembourg descent, particularly Václav IV. The publication also contains the scholar's bibliography concerning the themes as well as comprehensive index and Czech summaries of the papers.
