V této práci popisujeme rychlé a intenzivní NPQ. Description in English In this work we describe photoprotective NPQ and its regulation in alga Chromera velia. NPQ in C. velia is connected with the unusually fast (in comparison to vascular plants) violaxanthin to zeaxanthin exchange that is driven by the buildup of the transthylakoid proton gradient. The observed intensive NPQ can efficiently dissipate the excessive energy absorbed by C. velia grown under high light conditions Workplace Institute of Microbiology Contact Eliška Spurná, eliska.spurna@biomed.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 231 Year of Publishing 2011
