    In the frame of the research project dealing with the chemoprotective polyphenolic substances in wine, the content of resveratrol in red wines from the South Moravian region from seven vintage years (1999-2007). We have also investigated the content of catechin and epicatechin, since 2004 the content of piceid in addition. Wines from the following grape varieties were investigated (Zweigeltrebe, Blau Frankisch, St. Laurent, Cabernet Moravia, Pinot Noir, Blauer Portugieser, Andre and Neronet).
