Studie zachycuje jednak reakci českého obyvatelstva na nacistickou okupaci a vytvoření Protektorátu Čechy a Morava, jednak postupné vznikání a organizování českého domácího rezistenčního proudu v období od jara 1939 do jara 1940.

The study shows both the reaction of the Czech population to the Nazi occupation and the establishment of the Protectorate Bohemia and Moravia, and the gradual emergence and organization of Czech domestic resistance stream in the period from spring 1939 to spring 1940.
