Nejintenzivnější byly tyto styky v 19. a na začátku 20. století, kdy Češi žili spolu se Slovinci uvnitř habsburské monarchie. Novou dynamiku získaly vzájemné kontakty na začátku 21. století, kdy se Česká republika a Slovinsko společně staly členy Evropské unie a NATO. Description in English The study provides a survey of political, economic, cultural and scientific contacts between the Czechs and the Slovenians since medieval times up to now. The relations were most intensive in the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century, when the Czechs were living together with the Slovenians within the Habsburg Monarchy. Mutual relations got new dynamics at the beginning of the 21st century when the Czech Republic and Slovenia together became members of the European Union and NATO.
