Studie se věnuje rozmanitým aspektům problematiky vyrovnávání se s minulostí v České republice a v Německu. Na základě srovnání jednotlivých etap německého vyrovnávání s druhou diktaturou se autor snaží upozornit na možná východiska pro české prostředí.

The study focuses on various aspects of dealing with the past in the Czech Republic and Germany. Based on comparison of each stages of German understanding of the second dictatorship the author draws attention to possible solutions for the Czechs.
