    AnnotationMonitoring of cyanobacterial water blooms and toxic microcystins in three interconnected reservoirs Vír, Brno and Nové Mlýny in 1998-1999/2001-2008 revealed, that microcystin concentrations showed parallel trends in all three reservoirs not only annually but also during the individual seasons. Structural variant microcystin-LR composed only 30-50% of total microcystin content. The maximal detected concentrations of microcystins in biomass was 6.1 mg/g DW, median values ranged from 0.065 to 3.1 mg/g DW.
