In our study we evaluated the effect of agonists and allosteric modulators of mGluR2/3 and mGluR5 on performance in a cognitive task in animal model of schizophrenia like behavior. The results show that application of the mGlu2/3 receptor agonist had no effect on cognitive impairment. However, the mGlu5 receptor agonists ameliorated cognitive impairment without affecting locomotion Workplace Institute of Physiology Contact Lucie Trajhanová, lucie.trajhanova@fgu.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 400 Year of Publishing 2011
