The article deals with the problem of whether we can extract any thinking about God, gods and sacred beings in Heidegger's work, especially in relation to Kirkegaard. It appears that the undercurrent of Heidegger's thinking is the re-awekening of "pious thinking" and reservedness. Through Heidegger's work, we think about whether the question of God can be decided only in the proximity of being and holiness. Our belonging to the earth gives us the possibility to care properly for things.
