    The effect of ECAP technology on the creep fracture and grain structure of originally coarce-grained pure aluminium and copper was examined. The grain and subgrain structures were revealed by means of the electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). The fracture time markedly decreases with growing numer of ECAP passes.
