The wood-decomposing fungal species Antrodia macra, Antrodia pulvinascens, Ceriporiopsis aneirina, Ceriporiopsis resinascens and Dichomitus albidofuscus produce all or some of the following enzymes: laccase, manganese peroxidase, lignin peroxidase, endo-1,4-b-glucanase, endo-1,4-b-xylanase, cellobiohydrolase, 1,4-b-glucosidase and 1,4-b-xylosidase. The production is regulated by nitrogen content.
