Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) is described as a most typical NBB. Control of the hybrid structure, polymerization kinetics, network topology and synthesis procedure are discussed. Investigation of an interphase interaction and self-assembly in epoxy-POSS networks is described as well.
