AnnotationGeometrical analysis of interfaces in a Cu-Al-Ni alloy is performed on the basis of the phenomenological theory of martensite. Experimentally observed lines in the intervariant interfaces are interpreted as slip steps. The directions of these lines agree with theoretical predictions.
