Článek se zabývá paralelami mezi Popperovou koncepcí vývoje vědění prostřednictvím falsifikace nepravdivých teorií a darwinistickým pojetím vývoje života jako přežití úspěšnějších druhů. Poukazuje též na některé odlišnosti Popperovy epistemologie od darwinismu především v otázce regulativního ideálu pravdy.
The paper analyzes the similarities between the Popper's conception of the growth of knowledge via the falsification of false theories and the Darwinian model of the evolution of life. It points out some differences between the two conceptions consisting mainly in Popper's regulative ideal of truth.
