Description in English The presented paper is supposed to refer to a fact, that except from the frequently described „ganister“, in the Prokop seam under layer also occurs zone of sediments with atypical development. Analyzing the thickness of this zone in the explorative field Frenštát – west, the thickness extent of this zone was assessed and the area with the maximum depth of atypical development of sediments was defined.
