Both species manifest similar host ranges, but B.-koreanus is better able to develop on Aphis craccivora that harbors the bacterial endosymbiont Hamiltonella defensa, which seems to strongly interfere with the development of B. communis- The results are discussed in relation to biological control introductions aginst the soyabean aphid in North America.
