Ionospheric high frequency continuous Doppler shift measurements were studied. We focused on waves of periods 2-60 min. Ionospheric data were analysed together with geomagnetic data. It can in our opinion help to distinguish acoustic-gravity waves from ionospheric oscillations of geomagnetic origin. We discuss a possible influence of the reflection height of the sounding wave and the influence of active weather systems intensity on the observations.
