    Some glasses Bi2O3-PbO-B2O3-GeO2 were prepared. Raman spectra indicate an increase in the density of three body linkages with a decrease in B2O3 content. Optical band gap values were determined in the region3.46 -3.6 eV. Temperature shift of the optical band gap was found at around 4.43-5.6×10-4 eV/K. Nonlinear refractive index was estimated at around 8.15×10-11 esu.

    Některá skla Bi2O3-PbO-B2O3-GeO2 systému byla připravena. Ramanova spektra indikují růst hustoty tříatomových můstků s poklesem koncentrace B2O3. Optická šířka zakázaného pásu (Eg) byla určena v intervalu 3.46 -3.6 eV. Teplotní posun Eg byl nalezen v intervalu 4.43-5.6×10-4 eV/K. Nelineární index lomu byl odhadnut okolo 8.15×10-12 esu.
