This work describes increase of the efficiency of biodegradation of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) by the introduction of bacterial genes into the plant genome. For this purpose, we selected the bphC gene encoding 2,3-dihydroxybiphenyl-1,2-dioxygenase from Pseudomonas testosteroni B-356 and cloned it into tobacco plants.
Práce popisuje zvýšení účinnosti biodegradace polychlorovaných bifenylů (PCB) zavedením bakterálních genů do rostlinného genomu. Pro tento účel jsme vybrali gen bphC kodující 2,3-dihydroxybifenyl-1,2-dioxygenasu z bakterie Pseudomonas testosteroni B-356 ke klonování dorostlin.
