Annotation131I and Gd-labeled HPMA copolymers of different sizes circulate in bloodstream for prolonged period of time and accumulate in solid tumors more effectively than in healthy tissues confirming their selective accumulation in tumors due to EPR effect. The effect of combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy on the tumor accumulation is significant resulting in increase of concentration of the polymer therapeutics in the tumor and in its antitumor effect without any signs of side toxicity.
