AnnotationThe contribution deals with an unstructured adaptive meshing refinement which is not only limited on linearly mapped elements, but includes curved quadratic ones as well. An incompressible viscous flow is modeled with the help of an artificial compressibility method. The solution is tested on an axisymmetric sudden expansion flow.
