AnnotationMetabolites of PCBs were determined in vitro in plant tissue cultures of tobacco and black nightshade. Screening of 21 plant species naturally colonizing PCB dumpsite showed that PCBs are metabolized by plants in vivo, too, to the hydroxy- and methoxy-metabolites.
