AnnotationResults of a huge number of interdisciplinary investigations clearly proved the impact of anthropogenic atmospheric pollutants on humans and the environment. An industrial society tends to see the solution of environmental problems as an essential condition for its further harmonic development. In that sense, to incur expenditure with the intention of solving environmental problems rationally, it is necessary that all relevant information and input data for decisions are made available. From this point of view, there has been a tremendous increase in the study of physical-chemical processes in the atmosphere as well as in the investigation of air pollution propagation. For this purpose, input information has to be made available using effective advanced techniques on a local, regional and also a global scale. Remote sensing is one such technique.
