Description in English Geodetic methods are widely used to observe surface changes caused by underground mining. While levelling is used to detect height condition of the surface, GPS method is used to find out both height and site coordinates and therefore it is used to observe spatial changes. However, precise levelling may be thanks to its high accuracy more suitable for observation of small changes near the margins of subsidence depression. There even some untypical changes were monitored and the heights of stabilized points show on fluctuation within several centimetres.
