    AnnotationGlueMRC is a program for composing two overlapping series of optical sections captured by a Bio-Rad confocal microscope. Input is represented by two microscope native-format files and output by one file containing series of confocal images composed from the two input overlapping series. The image alignment is refined by automatic algorithms based either on minimalization of the sum of absolute valued differences between the overlapping parts of the images, or on maximalization of normalized correlation coefficient or mutual information function between the image overlaps
