    Description in EnglishA new method of the sine look-up table compression in digital frequency synthesizer is investigated. The approximated sine value consists of a coarse and of a fine part. The first one provides a staircase function, the second one is based on a straight line with the prescribed slope and shift. Some results of the procedure are shown for 3 coarse approximations. The dependence of the maximum spurious spectral component on approximation parameters is given.
