Description in English
A specific version of the signal flow graphs method is employed to depict topological structure of the laser diode amplifier (LDA) models, in particular that proposed by M. J. Adams. The diagram representing this model contains two closed paths - feedback loops - that are shown to exert controlling influence on the operation mode of LDA. Qualitative and quantitative criteria for the occurrence of bistable regime in terms of characteristic parameters values are given.
