AnnotationThe assumption that controlled breathing can increase the diagnostic contribution of heart rate variability (HRV) have been tested. Significant differences (p < 0,02) between patients with implantable cardioverter-defibrilator and other groups of subjects exist in HRV if the controlled breathing of 0,1 Hz is used. Such controlled breathing is the best excitation of short-term circulation control and the amplification of signals corresponding to circulation control.
