Contribution about the developmental tendencies and priorities of the Czech educational policies of the 1890s and their reflection by the Austrian School Administration. The focus of this contribution is the political conflict between the Czech member of Parliament and Minister of Culture and Eduction Paul Gautsch von Frankenthurn in the years 1887-88.
