AnnotationAn automatic system SAMTOC was designed for continuous measurement of CO2 flux from soil and woody-tissue. The system was measuring continuously during vegetation season 2002. Periods with limited soil respiration by water deficiency were analysed during vegetation season 2002. Decrease of soil CO2 efflux during dry periods was from 11.6 (soil temperature 7 degrees C) to 20.5 (soil temperature 17 degrees C).
