Uvádí se zde dobové požadavky na umělce, kteří pracovali na monumentálních zakázkách v padesátých letech. Svolinského práci však text vysvětluje spíše v kontextu diskuse o monumentálním umění čtyřicátých let.

K. Svolinsky has been chosen as one of the main and most representative official authors of fifties. The political and ideological reasons for that choice are noticed in the text of contribution. Also, the demands on the artists who had been working on monumental orders in fifties, are described there.
