Článek je edicí seznamu výdajů habsburského vyslance k Vysoké Portě Heřmana Černína z Chudenic, deponovaného ve Státním oblastním archivu Třeboň, pobočka Jindřichův Hradec, rodinný archiv Černín, karton číslo 9, který pochází z jeho první vyslanecké cesty vykonané v letech 1616-1617 spolu s Cesare Gallem. Seznam výdajů vznikl pravděpodobně v souvislosti s přípravou vyúčtování pro Dvorskou komoru po Černínově návratu. Byl zřejmě opisován z makulatury, jež se bohužel nedochovala. Pro účel této edice byl text rozdělen do tří částí, z nichž první dvě obsahují vlastní edici textu a poslední část je analytickou studií. V této části jsou údaje Černínova seznamu analyzovány na pozadí osmanských oficiálních záznamů týkajících se této legace.

The article is an edition of a list of expenditures of a Habsburg ambassador to Constantinople in the years 1616/17 Herrman Czernin of Chudenice. The summarizes article is the first part of the study which was divided into three parts. The first two parts contain the edition of the text preserved at the State regional archives Třeboň, department Jindřichův Hradec. The list contains a lot of interesting entries concerning ambassador and his partyŽs social life 'at the Threshold of Felicity'. Thus, it discloses a rather neglected aspect of an everyday life of the embassy. The last part will contain an analysis of information concerning stay of the embassy at Constantinople. In this part of the study, information offered by the text edited will be analysed at the background of the Ottoman administration sources.
