AnnotationThe negative effect of the first dynode's geometry on the detection efficiency and current amplification of a 119EM electron multiplier was experimentally investigated. The efficiency of multiplier has been most highly, when ions have impacted near the entry to the space of second dynode.Tlowest efficiency (5) has been detected, when the ions have impacted to the opposite part of the first dynode.
