AnnotationVibrations in polar structures in living cells may be excited by energy supply by hydrolysis of adenosine triphosphate or guanosine triphosphate. Viscous damping of vibrations may be low in electrical polar structures with high deformability /e.g.in microtubules/. These structures are capable of generation of the endogenous electromagnetic field in living cells.
